Party a Flying Success! :)

In the new newspaper today, there was a Festival of Flight article about how the party was a success and what we got done! Here it is:

If you cannot see it, here's what it says:

1. Gary's plan to lift up the island to replace the glass was met with enthusiasm!

2. Penguins everywhere helped get gadgets and inventions ready for take-off!

3. It worked! For the first time ever, the island of Club Penguin was in the air!

4. Penguins tested some of Gary's inventions and took in the views!

5. All over there were sky-high adventures to be had!

6. Slowly and safely, returned to the water and Festival of Flight was called a "flying success!"

Festival of Flight was very fun!

Greetings Penguins!

There's a new play at the Stage on Friday called Underwater Adventure. I know lots of you are curious about it, so I talked to some of the artists who worked on it. Here's the scoop:

What inspired you about doing the costumes?For one of them, a delicious meal I once had was the inspiration...

Tell us something cool about the set!

There's an entire sea castle to climb in! And a secret shadowy sea creature in the distance.

For this play, are there treats underwater?

Well, chocolate bars tend to get a little soggy, and cotton candy is a mess...we could have tried sea salt taffy - but I'm pretty sure we didn't.

It starts Friday! Head down then and make a splash. Until then...Waddle on!

p.s. Yay to the Festival of Flight happening for longer than planned. It's so amazing to have the island up in the air - hope you keep enjoying it. It comes down tomorrow.

Hello Penguins!Since the Festival of Flight party started, lots of you have been asking for it to stay past the 18th. So guess what? Don't pack up your jetpacks and propeller caps just yet because we're going to keep Club Penguin in the air for longer than planned!The Festival of Flight will stay up until August 20 - just in time for the Underwater Adventure to start on August 21 at the Stage!! We hope you're using your aviator glasses - soon you may be trading them in for lobster claws... Until then... Waddle On!

Snow Fort Fun :)

Hey people!!! Have you guys ever played in the Snow Forts? It's soooo fun!!! Play a snowball fight with all your friends!!! And since it's Festival of Flight, you can snowball fight in style with a ship and a cannon!!! AWESOME!

Gary was just found in Frozen on the Hot Air Ride!!!! Really fun! But he left so quick because he doesn't like crowds.

He is very clusterphobic.. x]

WOOT FESTIVAL OF FLIGHT!! :D

Hello Penguins!Today Club Penguin is in the sky!! The Festival of Flight party is finally here. Lots of you seem to be liking the new green propeller hat and checking out the view from the floor in the Night Club. Members can ride on a Hot Air Balloon and visit the Tallest Mountain where they'll find their own jetpack. The team thinks it's cool how a bunch of penguins are on the Iceberg throwing snowballs at the island above...Let us know what you think of the new view.In other news: The team's set it up so that now you can hear your instruments at the Lighthouse stage! We hope you and your band will have fun practicing there. Until then...Waddle on!

Festival of Flight is Here! :)

Hey guys!!! IT'S HERE!!! Sorry I didn't post earlier. Was somewhere. BUT I AM SO HAPPY!! I love the balloon ride. Who said Penguins Can't Fly? x]

I never noticed that hot air balloon rides were only for members. :[ BUT members AND nonmembers get the chance to meet GARY!!!! :D So I'll put up a tracker soon and we'll find Gary!! His usual places are Top of the Mountain (for members) and Underground Pool (for members AND nonmembers) and what I've heard, the HQ (Maybe). We'll find him!!! :]

I was reading the article on Festival of Flight in the Newspaper. Then I saw one of the penguins in the picture is wearing a green propeller cap. And from what I know, I think that must be a free item. Unless I'm wrong. I'm not sure. :D But I think that's a hint!!!
