Silliness with new friends!

Hey guys! Today was SOOO FUN! I made some great new friends! Named Anemone5 and Khai123! Khai is HILARIOUS! It's so fun because it all started when Anemone admired my purple hat and then Khai started liking it. Then he 'snatched' it away and then I was bald. He was like COVER YOUR EYES! I LMAO'd!! And it kept going on and on as I kept getting more hats until I ran out. It was so fun!

Soon, Anemone started eating skittles, and we took them and started saying 'TASTE THE RAINBOW!" Here's the footage:

The team loves it when Rockhopper's here because there's always buzz all over the island about meeting him, checking out his catalog, and playing the Treasure Hunt game he brings. Have you played? It's inside the Migrator's Captain's Quarters and you can search for treasure with a buddy. I always try to get the rare emerald. Let me know if you've ever found one.

Greetings Penguins!We're excited that Friday is just around the corner because there's a brand new Snow & Sport catalog that'll be released in the Sport Shop. I wanted to know a bit more about that catalog so I asked someone who works on it. Here goes:

How often do you make a new Snow & Sport catalog?

Four times a year. We started to put the months on the front of the catalog so you'll see when the next issue is coming!

If there was a candy-eating sport, would any of you make the finals? What sort of outfit would you make for that?

We'd eat our weight in candy and more! In fact, here's a sketch we just created that we think would be awesome to wear if there were a candy eating sport (We know there's no candy eating sport. This outfit is not in the catalog - it's just for fun!).

Here is the newest "Reviewed By You": Hello Penguins, Got your director hats ready? You guys sent in some cool Underwater Adventure ideas last week when we asked what kind of sea stories you'd write about if you had the chance! Here's one that the team really liked: I would write about a mermaid that is looking for lost treasure and meets a fish and a squid who join her along the way. Then when they find the treasure chest they open it up and it is just filled with chocolate coins. The mermaid, the squid, and the fish learn the treasure that counts is friendship, and the story would end by the three friends eating the chocolate coins! Thanks, Blackie487! Happy77 would really like that story... we hope you like the brand new Underwater Adventure play on Friday. There's a new play at the Stage on Friday called Underwater Adventure. I know lots of you are curious about it, so I talked to some of the artists who worked on it. Here's the scoop:

What inspired you about doing the costumes?For one of them, a delicious meal I once had was the inspiration...

Mmm...so tasty...

Tell us something cool about the set!

There's an entire sea castle to climb in! And a secret shadowy sea creature in the distance.

For this play, are there treats underwater?

Well, chocolate bars tend to get a little soggy, and cotton candy is a mess...we could have tried sea salt taffy - but I'm pretty sure we didn't.

It starts Friday! Head down then and make a splash. Until then...Waddle on!

p.s. Yay to the Festival of Flight happening for longer than planned. It's so amazing to have the island up in the air - hope you keep enjoying it. It comes down tomorrow.

Hello Penguins!Since the Festival of Flight party started, lots of you have been asking for it to stay past the 18th. So guess what? Don't pack up your jetpacks and propeller caps just yet because we're going to keep Club Penguin in the air for longer than planned!The Festival of Flight will stay up until August 20 - just in time for the Underwater Adventure to start on August 21 at the Stage!! We hope you're using your aviator glasses - soon you may be trading them in for lobster claws... Until then... Waddle On!

Hello Penguins!Today Club Penguin is in the sky!! The Festival of Flight party is finally here. Lots of you seem to be liking the new green propeller hat and checking out the view from the floor in the Night Club. Members can ride on a Hot Air Balloon and visit the Tallest Mountain where they'll find their own jetpack. The team thinks it's cool how a bunch of penguins are on the Iceberg throwing snowballs at the island above...Let us know what you think of the new view.In other news: The team's set it up so that now you can hear your instruments at the Lighthouse stage! Here's the greatest latest!

Greetings Penguins!Are you as excited as I am? Festival of Flight starts tomorrow. It's going to be pretty amazing to have Club Penguin floating in the air.Last week we asked you about your ideas for how you might help Gary lift the island. Lots of cool ideas came in. Here are some from Limeg6 who said:

There is a lot of ways we can help Gary. These are the ways I will be using! First I will blow up balloons with the Super Helium. Next I will use my propeller to lift Club Penguin off the ground! Then I will fill up hot air balloons. I would tie balloons around everything! I will tie a balloon to the Iceberg and everywhere!

Thanks! You'll have to let us know tomorrow what you think about the solution Gary came up with...

The party will go from August 14 - 18 and then on the 20th (Friday) you'll find a brand new, never before seen play at the Stage! It's called Underwater Adventure.... Hi everyone! Screenhog here! Penguins may not be able to fly, but that doesn't mean that Club Penguin can't! In a few days, for the first time ever, Club Penguin will be an island in the sky. When we first thought of the idea of putting Club Penguin in the sky, we loved it, but then we started asking ourselves some questions. What happens to the Beach or the coastline of the Cove? Can penguins still play Hydro-Hopper? And what does a device powerful enough to lift an entire island even look like, and where would we put it? For the full answer you'll have to wait until the party, but I can show you this behind-the-scenes concept art from when we were trying to answer all these questions ourselves: Pretty neat, huh?
